Wrecked was an amazing book! I loved listening to it while I was traveling. Wrecked was the first contemporary/dark romance book that I read from Leia Stone, that didn't have some sort of paranormal trope to it. It is a standalone book in her contemporary romance book section.

While I am used to reading all her paranormal books, I loved reading Wrecked. I am not used to audiobooks so I was happy it was still easy to follow along and picture the characters and setting. I loved that it kept me on my toes and that I was constantly wondering what was going to happen next. I didn't want to put it down.

I love Ethan and Hailey together, I loved being a part of their journey and how protective they are of each other. I thought it was really sweet how they always put each other's needs before their own, even if it hurt to do so. I enjoyed the friendship between Hailey and Angela. I loved how they could joke and mess around, even if the circumstances weren't great.

To me, it's like a Cinderella retelling in a way. A girl who is down on her luck after losing everything, and struggling to make ends meet. How she runs into 'Prince Charming' and he sweeps her off her feet, providing a safer environment for her and helping her get back on her feet.

Its almost a slow-burn romance, but it is action-packed and will leave you on the edge of your seat. I highly recommend it, I'd read it again.

This book is more geared for 18+ readers as there is some content that may not be suitable for some readers.
