RATING; Five Stars
I enjoyed reading Lies That Bleed. At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it, but man was it super good. I loved the Hunger Games feel it had, and it kept me interested in the book. I didn't want to put it down. It kept me on the edge of my seat, wanting to know what happened next. I loved the characters and the setting was well-developed. It was easy to picture the world and also easy to relate/understand the characters. I thought the plot was really creative, I also got some How to Train A dragon vibes too.
Though, I gotta say, Tetra, man I relate to her so much. I was able to connect to her character from my personal experience. I love how she and Aisling are inseparable. They have this special bond and they don't care what others may think. It's the kind of friendship I think everyone wants.
But can I just say, Kohen, I loved him from the beginning.
I loved reading Lies That Bleed, I highly recommend it. If you like Hunger Games this is the book for you. It is more of an adult book as some language is used.
