Book Review #58— Powerless written by Lauren Roberts

Book 1 in the Powerless Trilogy

I loved reading this book. I had such a good time. When I read the blurb, I wasn't sure I would like it. However, I couldn't put this book down. I loved it. I liked how it was similar to the Hunger Games, a series that got me open to the idea of reading other books. I really like Kai and Pae, I find the banter fun to read. I can't wait to see what happens next in the series and am glad that I started it close to the 3rd book being released. That way I don't have to wait a long time to read the next books.

The world-building was really good. I loved the characters; they were developed very well. I thought it was action-packed and moved along at a steady pace. I like books that have you so invested that you set down to read five chapters and then realize you've read twenty.

I highly recommend this book, and I can't wait to read the rest of this series.
